AGR3 produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 169 amino acids (22-166 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 19.5kDa. AGR3 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Anterior gradient protein 3 homolog precursor (AGR3) is a secreted cytoplasmic protein that is involved in metastasis induction and p53 tumor suppressor inhibition. AGR3 may function as molecular marker and potential therapeutic target for hormone-responsive breast tumors.
