AAV Capsid Barcode Kit-Common-CMV-mCherry

AAV Capsid Barcode Kit-Common is designed to systematically evaluate different common used AAV serotypes or variants of their activities in different cells and tissues. This library includes 15 common AAV capsids. Researchers can use the unique DNA barcodes to evaluate the distribution of each capsid variant for different types of target cells.
In the AAV Capsid Barcode Kit-Common-CMV-mCherry, the CMV-mCherry is used as reporter system. The CMV promoter is known for strong and ubiquitous expression in various cell types. The presence of the mCherry reporter gene allows for the enrichment of transgene-expressing cells, making it possible to identify and isolate cells that have taken up and expressed the AAV genomes. WPRE enhancer and bGH polyA can enhance mCherry expression and stabilize mRNA. In this kit, each AAV capsid is assigned to 3 different barcodes (BCs), which are located between WPRE and PolyA. Researchers can check both DNA and RNA levels with NGS targeting to BC region.
