AAGAB Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 335 amino acids (1-315 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 36.7kDa. AAGAB is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Alpha & Gamma-Adaptin Binding Protein (AAGAB), which is also known as P34, takes part in membrane traffic and interacts with AP1G1 and AP2A1. AAGAB is highly expressed in skin and keratinocytes, with the highest levels in adrenal gland, rectum and thymus.
