3′-Dephosphocoenzyme A is a critical intermediate in the biosynthesis of coenzyme A, synthesized by CoA synthase and subsequently converted to coenzyme A by dephospho-CoA kinase. It plays a crucial role as a transcription initiator in in vitro transcription studies and belongs to the purine ribonucleoside diphosphates class, which contributes to RNA synthesis and lipid metabolism. 3′-dephospho-CoA is involved in various enzymatic reactions that support the synthesis of coenzyme A and other vital cellular functions (Zhang et al., 2011; Hara et al., 2015).
