17-(Azide-PEG6-ethylcarbamoyl)heptadecanoic t-butyl ester is a PEG derivative containing an azide group and a t-butyl ester group. The azide can participate in copper-catalyzed Click Chemistry reactions with alkynes, DBCO and BCN to form triazole groups. The t-butyl protected carboxyl group can be deprotected under acidic conditions.
