  - Strep-Tag II is a small tag of 8 amino acids (WSHPQFEK). Since the tag is small, only about 1.06 kDa, it does not affect the structure and function of the fused protein, so there is no need to remove the tag. It has been widely used due to its high specificity, high purity in single-step purification, mild purification conditions, and fusion of both ends of the protein. Twin Strep-tag II is a sequence of two Strep-tag II sequences (connected by internal amino acids). This tag can be purified gently and quickly like Strep-tag II.

    Streptactin is one of the most stable proteins. It is coupled to highly cross-linked 4% agarose beads and can be used in various expression systems, including baculovirus, mammalian cells, yeast and bacteria to purify proteins containing Strep-Tag II tags. The resin can also be used for Twin Strep-Tag II tag purification.
