- SensiStain™ Anti-Cytokeratin 18 Antibody is designed for the detection of human CK18 in tissues and in cell lysates. Cytokeratin 18 (CK18) is expressed in epithelial tieeus and is commonly found together with Cytokeratin 8 (CK8). It is a useful marker for adenocarcinomas of simple and glandular epithelium origin, or poorly differentiated squamous carcinoma cells. It may be used with Cytokeratin 8 (CK8) and Cytokeratin 19 (CK19) to differentiate epthelial originated cells.
