      • Overview
        • CMTM6, also referred to as CKLF Like MARVEL Transmembrane Domain Containing 6, is widely expressed in many tissues, but the function relatively remains unknown. SensiStain™ Anti- CMTM6 Antibody detects the presence of CMTM6 which can be found binding to PD-L1 and maintains its cell surface expression. Studies have showed that due to the binding to PD-L1, CMTM6 co-localizes at plasma membrane and recycling endosomes preventing PD-L1 from being targeted for lysosome-mediated degradation. Due to the high specificity CMTM6 has with PD-L1, it can be studied alongside with PD-L1 as it has a role in suppression of tumour-specific T cell activity.
