        • SCGB3A2 Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a non-glycosylated homodimer containing a total of 157 (2xPhe22-Val93) amino acids including a 6 aa linker and 6 aa His tag at C-terminus. The total calculated molecular mass is 17.1kDa. Secretoglobin Family 3A Member 2 (SCGB3A2) is a secreted lung surfactant protein and a downstream target of thyroid transcription factor. A single nucleotide polymorphism in the promoter of the SCGB3A2 gene results in susceptibility to asthma.
