RPS7 Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 218 amino acids (1-194 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 24.7kDa. RPS7 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. RPS7 is a member of the S3P family of ribosomal proteins and is situated in the cytoplasm. RPS7 takes part in ribosomal stress, connecting ribosome biogenesis to cell death or cell cycle arrest. In addition, RPS7 cooperates with MDM2 and negatively regulate the MDM2-mediated degradation of p53.
