        • RPS19 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptide chain containing 168 amino acids (1-145) and having a molecular mass of 18.4kDa. RPS19 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Ribosomal Protein S19, also known as RPS19, is a part of the S19E family of ribosomal proteins. RPS19 is located in the cytoplasm and required for pre-rRNA processing and maturation of 40S ribosomal subunits. Mutations in RPS19 trigger Diamond-Blackfan anemia, a constitutional erythroblastopenia characterized by absent or decreased erythroid precursors, in a subset of patients.

          Formulation
          The RPS19 solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0) containing 0.2M NaCl, 40% glycerol and 2mM DTT.
          Storage
          Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
