      • Overview
        • MW : 93.5kD. Recombinant Human Cadherin-11 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Phe23-Thr617 is expressed with a Fc, 6His tag at the C-terminus. Cadherin-11, also known as OSF-4, Osteoblast cadherin and CDH11, is a type II classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily, integral membrane proteins that mediate calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion. Cadherins interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells, may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. Cadherin-11 contains five cadherin domains and is mainly expressed in brain. Mature cadherin proteins consists of a large N-terminal extracellular domain, a single membrane-spanning domain, and a small, highly conserved C-terminal cytoplasmic domain. It is shown that cadherin-11 is a viable molecular target for therapeutic intervention in Glioblastoma multiforme.

      • Applications
        • Application Description
Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 µg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
