  - MW : 38.1kD. Recombinant Human Actin-Related Protein 8/ACTR8 is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Trp329 is expressed with a 6His tag at the N-terminus. Actin-Related Protein 8 (ACTR8) is a member of the Actin family. ACTR8 is the first example in actin family that was found to be associated with mitotic chromosomes. ACTR8 plays a vital role in the functional organization of mitotic chromosomes. This protein is a proposed core component of the chromatin remodeling INO80 complex that is involved in transcriptional regulation, DNA replication and probable DNA repair, and it is required for the recruitment of INO80 (and probably the INO80 complex) to sites of DNA damage.

    Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 µg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
