      • Overview
        • ENO3 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 454 amino acids (1-434) and having a molecular mass of 49.0 kDa. ENO3 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. ENO3 is one of three enolase isoenzymes in mammals. The homodimer ENO3 is located in skeletal muscle cells of adults and has a part in converting phosphoglyceric acid to phosphenolpyruvic acid in the glycolytic pathway. Mutations in ENO3 gene is linked to metabolic myopathies which is caused by low stability of the enzyme.
