  - EIF1AX Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 150 amino acids (1-144a.a.) and having a molecular wieght of 18.6kDa. EIF1AX is fused to 20a.a. His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. EIF1AX is an important eukaryotic translation initiation factor. EIF1AX is essential for the binding of the 43S complex (a 40S subunit, eIF2/GTP/Met-tRNAi and eIF3) to the 5' end of capped RNA. EIF1AP1 is needed for maximal rate of protein biosynthesis. EIF1AX increases ribosome dissociation into subunits and stabilizes the binding of the initiator Met-tRNA (I) to 40 S ribosomal subunits.

    Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
