  - Gamma-cyclodextrin (γ-CD) is a cyclic α-1,4-glucan linked oligosaccharide that is widely used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. In drug delivery, γ-CD can be used as a complexing agent because it forms an inclusion complex with a drug molecule.
