Baculovirus cells. CDK1 produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 305 amino acids (1-297a.a.) andhaving a molecular mass of 35.1kDa. CDK1 is expressed with an 8 amino acid His tag atC-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Cyclin-dependent kinase 1 (CDK1) plays a significant part in the controlof the eukaryotic cell cycle through modulating the centrosome cycle inaddition to mitotic onset; CDK1 promotes G2-M transition and regulates G1progress and G1-S transition using association with multiple interphasecyclins. CDK1 is essential in higher cells for the entry into S-phase andmitosis.
