        • CD83 Human Recombinant produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 148 amino acids (20-144a.a) and having a molecular mass of 16kDa. CD83 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. CD83 is a single-pass type I membrane protein and part of the immunoglobulin superfamily of receptors. CD83 involves in the regulation of antigen presentation. A soluble form of CD83 can bind to dendritic cells and inhibit their maturation. There were 3 transcript variants encoding different isoforms for CD83.

          Formulation
          CD83 protein solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl and 30% glycerol.
          Storage
          Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
