Mab to human TNF. Immunoglobulin isotype: IgG2a. The monoclonal antibody was raised against recombinant human tumor necrose factor alpha (TNFa). The immune lymphocytes from BALB/c mice were extracted from lymph nodes and fused with myeloma sp2/0 cells according to a standard protocol. The IgG1 fraction was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography. The antibody has been reported for use in detection of human TNF alpha by ELISA. It can also be used for immunoblotting.
