Regular monitoring during cell culture can effectively prevent widespread mycoplasma contamination. If the cells are already contaminated, the best treatment principle is to autoclave and discard the cells to prevent contamination of other clean cell lines. If the contaminated cells are valuable and the removal of mycoplasma contamination is necessary, a combination of antibiotics can be used to achieve this goal.
Since mycoplasma lacks a cell wall, traditional antibiotics are generally ineffective.
This product includes two antibiotics: GMyc-1, based on a truncated macrolide derivative, and GMyc-2, based on a tetracycline derivative. These two solutions are used in sequence to achieve a good effect. Please contact us at for specific academic pricing.
