Amerigo Scientific offers a diverse portfolio of functional stimulatory antibodies tailored for therapeutic studies. Our steadfast commitment to quality ensures dependable results, enabling researchers to produce data suitable for publication.
Stimulatory antibodies including various types of antibodies serve as different roles in different cells. For example, the thyrotropin receptor (TSHR), also known as the thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor, is the primary antigen implicated in Graves' disease. Thyroid-stimulating antibodies targeting TSHR, originally referred to as sustained thyroid stimulators due to their prolonged activity, induce excessive thyroid stimulation. A reported monoclonal TSHR-stimulating antibody, murine monoclonal TSHR-Ab, generated from these models, has demonstrated the ability to recognize the native conformation of TSHR with thyroid-stimulating activity. This exceptionally potent monoclonal antibody functions as a molecular tool, proposing a novel mechanism to elucidate the prolonged hyperstimulation of the thyroid gland observed in Graves' disease.
