The role of Tris-HCl in molecular biology is to control the acidity and osmolarity of a solution. Tris solution is suitable for molecular immunology, molecular biology and nucleic acid methodologies. The product has been aseptically filtered to 0.2 µm and tested for freedom from DNase, RNase and proteases.
