The OptiTherm kit is a fluorescence denaturation assay of thermal stability which can be measured using a qPCR instrument. Fluorescence profiles across temperature gradient are used to identify relative unfolding temperatures. A qPCR instrument (not included) is required to analyze protein thermal stability using the OptiTherm kit. This kit includes formulations, a mixing plate and fluorescent dye. One OptiTherm kit contains consumable materials to assay solution conditions for up to six (6) different protein samples. This kit uses the same set of reagents as OptiSol and includes excipients and concentrations that are not on the list of additives in FDA approved pharmaceuticals.
