RAW 264.7 cells are a macrophage-like, Abelson leukemia virus transformed cell line derived from BALB/c mice. RAW 264.7 cell slide is often used for immunocytochemical analysis of protein and protein-protein interaction. P rocedures for immunohistochemistry can be directly applied.

    Store at 4 °C. If stored properly, the product is stable for 12 months or longer.
    
    Note
    
    PepMute™, GenMute™ and PepMute™ Plus siRNA transfection reagents are found to be sometimes toxic ONLY with DMEM base cell culture medium. Culturing your cells with other cell media (supplemented with 10% FBS and antibiotics) will basically eliminate the transfection toxicity. If you find toxicity and high cell death, it may be because DMEM base medium supplemented with 10% FBS and antibiotics was used to culture the cells. To remove the transfection toxicity, DMEM can be replaced with DMEM/F12 or RPMI 1640 as base medium. Although we haven't figured out why, it does minimize toxicity. Please try it!
