Chromosome Medium P

Chromosome Medium P is a complete medium for optimized culture of peripheral blood lymphocytes and subsequent chromosome analysis. The special medium formulation leads to an optimal mitotic index and makes the product also suitable for cultures of fetal blood lymphocytes obtained via cordocentesis.

Quality Control:
The verification of mitotic index (percentage of mitosis on number of nuclei) and of medium sterility are executed after 72 hours of culture.

Product Stability:
Chromosome Medium P is shipped at 4°C. Once received, the product has to be stored at -20 ± 2°C. Once thawed, the medium may be stored between 2°C and 8°C for a maximum of 30 days. The product shelf life is 12 months.
