Microfluidic Chips

Microfluidics is an advanced cross-technology for the precise manipulation of liquids at the micrometer scale. By designing tiny channels, valves and reaction areas on the chip, the transportation, mixing, reaction and separation of liquids in micron-scale can be achieved. Microfluidic technology combines fluid mechanics, micro-machining technology, material science and biotechnology, and has the advantages of small sample usage, fast reaction speed and high system integration. Thus, it is widely used in biomedicine, chemical analysis, environmental testing, food safety and other fields.

As the core carrier of microfluidic technology, microfluidic chip, also known as "lab-on-a-chip", is an integrated microscale experimental platform, usually made of glass, polymer or silicon, with high-precision microchannel structure etched inside. Within the chip, precise control of tiny liquid volume and automated execution of complex experimental processes can be performed. Microfluidic chips have become an important tool for studying biological systems at single-cell resolution, droplet generation, molecular screening, protein-ligand interaction detection, and various biochemical molecular analysis and determination.

Amerigo Scientific provides a variety of standardized and customized microfluidic chips, which are widely used in cell culture and analysis, nucleic acid extraction and amplification, drug screening, single-cell research, organ chip modeling, etc.
