Plasma Separation Membrane

Plasma separation membrane is also called as blood cell separation membrane or plasma separation pad in membrane separation technology. PSM series plasma separation membrane is a new type of plasma separation filter, which is specifically developed for POCT diagnostics. It can separate plasma from whole blood quickly without hemolysis and no pre-treatment required.The final reaction sample of POCT (point-of-care-testing) is mainly plasma. The traditional way to obtain plasma is centrifugation, but centrifugation requires a larger sample volume and longer centrifugation time. The emergence of membrane separation technology has effectively solved these problems. Membrane separation has the advantages of small sample volume requirements, short separation time, low possibility of hemolysis, and ease of use. At present, plasma separation membranes play an important role in POCT, providing a rapid solution for red blood cell removal in POCT diagnosis.
