The OptoBot® 1000 Series is a high-throughput single-cell optofluidic sorting system that integrates optoelectronic tweezers (OET) and fully automated microfluidic chip technology. It is primarily applied in antibody discovery, cell function analysis, cell line development, and synthetic biology. This system enables high-throughput single-cell screening, reduces labor and consumable costs, and shortens cell screening experiments from months to just a few days.
The system supports both on-chip in-situ cell culture and two well-plate cultures, enabling a fully automated workflow from precise cell import, single-cell isolation, culture, characterization, to functional screening and live cell export. It allows for real-time, comprehensive monitoring of the entire cell life cycle, characterizing molecular and intercellular interactions without compromising cell viability, yielding high-quality outputs while improving experimental efficiency and data reproducibility. All steps are documented with image capture and data archiving for subsequent traceability. The system features a simple, intuitive graphical interface and workflow selection, allowing for easy customization of testing procedures.
The device is fully compliant with GMP design standards, featuring automated reagent and consumable level detection with alarm prompts. The integrated touchscreen, PC, and keyboard/mouse kit help laboratories maximize space. The equipment can provide either a positive or negative pressure operating environment, meeting ISO Class 5 or BSC Class II biosafety standards.

Application Description
· Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT)
A high-throughput, automated workflow isolates target single cells from transient co-cultures for downstream analysis, enabling multidimensional characterization of T cell potency at single-cell resolution. Images captured during isolation allow for the tracking of specific cells or cell types.
· Cell Line Development
By culturing and isolating monoclonal cells, we conduct functional validation and expression profiling to screen for cell lines with high expression and stability. Our integrated workflow enables high-yield cell line screening within five days using precision single-cell manipulation.
· Antibody Discovery
The process isolates single B cells and validates the function of their secreted antibodies to screen for high-specificity candidates. Subsequent sequencing and bioinformatics analysis align sequencing data with functional data, enabling the identification of specific antibody sequences.
