Lipophilic Test Solution, Contains Three Dyes

For practical work or teaching purposes, the multi-colorant test solution enables significant verification and demonstration of the properties of mobile and stationary phases. To check the development conditions of an analysis, it may sometimes be useful to add a separate test mixture with each TLC separation.
The lipophilic test solution contains three dyes. Dimethylaminoazobenzene/yellow butter, which turns from yellow to red in the acid pH range, Sudan G and indophenol blue, which turn from blue to yellow in the acid pH range. The dyes are dissolved in toluene.
