Ultra-Violet photo-oxidation unit for the liberation of inorganic phosphate from organically-bound phosphorous compounds, oxidation of carbon in organic matter and oxidation of organic nitrogen compounds. Cylindrical lamp housing contains 12, 100ml quartz sample tubes that surround a 1200w medium pressure photochemical lamp cooled by a integral fan. Power supply includes a manual or automatic 12 hour timer for programming exposure time. 220v supply available in either 50 or 60 Hz.
