Magnet Stands for Deep Well Plate

MagSleeves™, MagPen™ and MagSlide™ are designed to quickly and efficiently move magnetic particles from well to well or chamber to chamber while eliminating the manual aspiration and resuspension steps associated with traditional fixed position magnetic stands. Further the process eliminates the need for multiple disposable tips.

In principal, the MagSleeves™ and MagPen™ are covered with a disposable plastic sleeve which is a barrier between the magnet and the particles. With the magnetic covered with the sleeve, the magnet is dipped into the sample with magnetic particles. The large surface area and powerful magnets affect rapid particle capture - typically less than 30 seconds - even for relatively large samples such as 10ml in 25ml x 24 well plates. Once captured, the design allows for facile transfer to a second tube or well for wash or elution.
