Leukocyte-Depletion Membrane

Leukocyte-depletion membrane is composed PBT cellulose and PBT nanofiber cellulose, with thickness about 3mm (8 layers). It adopts special surface modification treatment to improve blood compatibility, allowing red blood cells to pass through the membrane. Combined with the high porosity and softness of nanofibers, red blood cells are less susceptible to mechanical damage and hemolysis. Leukocyte-depletion membrane adopts a special functional group surface modification process. The grafting technology of functional groups is one of the most core technologies in this application. Crosslinking reaction is carried out on the membrane surface. Compared with traditional processes such as cellulose irradiation and group impregnation, the grafted groups by crosslinking reaction process are more stable, less risk of loss and shedding.
