Polybutylene terephthalate coated on silica gel
DCpak® PBT is a column with the surface of silica gel coated with polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). The column is suitable not only for SFC, but also for HPLC. It can be used to separate a wide range of compounds, mainly aromatic compounds and heterocyclic compounds. It is also suitable for separating compounds with different degrees of unsaturation and structural isomers.
Solvents that may be used such as:
main mobile phase: CO2; auxiliary solvent: methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, ethyl acetate, tetrahydrofuran and dichloromethane
