A-2 Series Syringes provide pressurized storage with built-in push-button valve

The A-2 Series syringes are designed for tapered and internal threaded containers with standard needles. As the most popular of syringe product lines, they offer all the advantages of A-Series syringe, plus:
• Push button valve that allows instantaneous injection with ample storage to 250 psi in syringes as small as 25 µl. This is useful with small liquid samples containing low-boiling components, which would be lost through evaporation using ordinary syringes.
• Smaller volumes e.g., 25 µl and 50 µl are ideal for small liquid samples containing low-boiling components.
Flexibility for use in a variety of containers, including tapered, internal and external threaded containers, and for use with vacuum bulbs or lines.
• A special needle and needle connector designed specifically for chromatography and other analytical sampling, with significantly lower dead volume than conventional-style Luer connectors.
The positive rear stop (in 250 µl and larger sizes) prevents plunger blowout at elevated pressures, protecting against sample loss or operator injury.

In addition, the A-2 syringe has all the standard Pressure-Lok features, such as a PTFE plunger tip, PTFE-sealed needle, and ultra-smooth bore. Replacement components are available for easy repair.
