These slides are designed to secure tissue sections without the need for laboratory-applied coatings. This treatment reduces tissue loss during staining thereby resulting in quick turn-around times and reduced risk associated with tissue loss and repeat testing. Each slide features a chemistry based on silane, although optimized to improve application performance. The printed tab ink is impervious to virtually all common laboratory chemicals and reagents. Superfrost Plus slides are available with a white tab while Colorfrost Plus slides are available in nine colors.
