Full Name: plexin domain containing 2

BACKGROUND: PLXDC2 gene was found to be at a high level in some tumor cells and in some normal tissues, suggesting that it may play an important role in the formation of neovascularization. Recent studies have shown that it is associated with insulin levels and insulin resistance. At present, there is a lack of studies on the pathogenesis of DR in ARHGAP22 and PLXDC2, and the exact relationship between them and DR still needs to be further confirmed.
